A walk at sunset...

The dog had already been walked so I went out by myself....sometimes nice to swing both arms, not have to pick up poop, etc. The sky changed every minute that I walked along...here are just three photos, but I just kept snapping. It was so beautiful.  Grateful to live in such a beautiful place, knowing it won't be forever.

Just remember...

A day that starts like this...

...could end like this!  This was indeed my Thursday.
Above waiting for the bus in the morning and below walking the dog in the evening.

Happy Friday!

Eagle Harbor, Bainbridge Island from the ferry on an overcast morning. I'm kinda jealous of my daughter who rows out here five days a week or more. Not so much when I think of the cold and wet, but it can be beautiful.
Have a nice weekend everyone!

Signs of spring!

The tulip magnolia ready to pop...

The pear tree full of blossoms....

The daffodils almost spent....

Bonnie's homemade chocolate peanut butter eggs...

Carrots peeled and ready for boiling for carrot cookies...

Of course, the tulips...

And, SUNSHINE!

Wall of green.

Just spied this in the NYTimes online....a "living wall" at a restaurant in Mexico City. I've seen some of these before, but never quite this big...look at how tiny that bicycle looks. I think it's fabulous!

Crew!

I'm back from California and missing the sun and warm temps already. The main reason for traveling south was that my daughter was rowing in the San Diego Crew Classic. What a gorgeous venue, and very well organized with high school, collegiate and masters teams from all over the nation. Our girls did well and had fun...especially after the races enjoying the Southern California beaches. It is so nice to see the bond these young ladies have, their determination and the support they give each other. Gives me such hope for the future!
