Yikes, it's been a month since I've been here. I hate to admit that I've become more of a Facebook poster. It is so much easier AND so easy for people to just LIKE your photos/status rather than having to leave a comment. But, I also do not want to give up the blog. It has its own attraction and somehow I feel I can be more anonymous here, although I know that's not true.
I've been trying to spend more time in the garden. It's a lot of work, but can be so satisfying. It can also take a toll on my aging body. I'm trying to do a little each day rather than kill myself doing too much in one day, but sometimes around here, you have to take advantage of the nice weather when you've got it.
Anyway, here are a few pics from the garden this week. The calla lilies and hydrangeas are in full bloom, my tomatoes are planted, the poppies and peonies are ready to bloom. Enjoy.
Happy Monday!
There is still a lot of work to do...some areas in serious need of weeding.
And woodpeckers to contend with...
