Stormy ferry ride.

I rode the ferry into Seattle today for a lunchtime seminar. The skies did clear by late morning and it was a beautiful, but blustery day! The views from the ferry were wonderful and changed by the minute.

Let it be spring!

I'm ready! But as I write this, the rain is pounding my little metal roof and the forecast calls for heavy rain all day. It has been a long, dark winter in so many ways that I am desperate for the arrival of brighter days. For now I will continue to take my vitamin D, but hope that soon I can absorb it through my skin rather than taking a daily pill.  Happy First Day of Spring wherever you are!

Last Saturday.

I went up to Bellingham, to Lake Samish to watch my daughter in her first collegiate regatta as a coxswain. It was a sunny, but cold day with very calm water.....a thoroughly enjoyable outing!
