Bozeman in October

My son is a freshman at Montana State University in Bozeman! It had been six weeks since he left home and I just had to make a visit. I must say he's adjusting quite well. It is scary sending your first born off into the big wide world. You immediately think of all the things you wish you'd taught them....like wash whites in hot, colors in warm and do not mix them! "Mom," he said "there are only two buttons on the machine...whites or darks."

Well, I had my mornings to myself. He and his roommate do not wake before noon on weekends. So I did lots of exploring around Bozeman, mostly on foot. I loved all the brick buildings, wide avenues, gorgeous trees, lots of independent coffee shops and bookstores, and the signs.
