Poland.

As I was planning this trip I decided to try and visit the lands of my ancestors. I'm half Polish, and the other half is a European mix including French and Irish, but it's mostly one-quarter Scottish and one-quarter Spanish. So after Berlin, the kids and I separated and I flew to Kraków for the first time. It's a very old city, but beautiful and the people were so welcoming. It's easy to get around on public transportation. I haven't seen so many nuns and churches in a long time. Poland is part of the European Union, but they still have the zloty and it was a very affordable. This first photo is one I shared on Facebook...it's the view from the plane as we were landing.
